With only a week to go before the end of the school year it’s time to start being frugal, not only with my money but with my time. I don’t want to be spending all summer working but I don’t want to completely stop working – at the end of the day, if I’m not working I’m not earning. So next week it’s all systems go to make sure I’m ready for the next 6 weeks.
This week has been a rather quite week. I’ve baked and decorated a cake for Eban’s school and toddled up to his school fayre, besides that it’s been a lot of focus on working especially with the summer holidays right around the corner. It’s also meant that I haven’t really done many frugal things, just some accidentally frugal ones. So here are my five fabulously frugal things I’ve done this week.
Well, it’s been a wet and windy week here. Monday was still dry so it meant we could get some work done on the garden, we managed to mow and strim the whole thing, then we did a run to the tip to get rid of a few things that we’d been storing in the shed ready to get rid of – all nice and tidy now. The rest of the week has been rather uneventful but here is my five fabulously frugal things I’ve done.
Another week has gone by, I can’t believe we’re almost at the end of June. This week hasn’t been too exciting in the frugal sense, I’ve not really done much other than working and cleaning. There haven’t been many yellow sticker items on my trips to Asda and I haven’t really had to buy much. Still, I’ve saved where I can so here are the five fabulously frugal things I’ve done this week.
I started doing the Five Fabulously Frugal posts over on ChammyIRL earlier in the year but as soon as I realised I’d be moving my money content over to a fresh site I decided to wait until I was set up. The idea of 5FF is that I look back over the week and tell you about five things I’ve done to save money. It’s part of a “linky” where other bloggers contribute, so if you’d like to take a look at what everyone else has been up to then check out the links at the end of the post.
